But source on Tuesday said that “China’s Baidu wins court case against music groups”. The IFPI (International Federation of the Phonographic Industry) which represents the recording industry worldwide, said it was very disappointed with the ruling after a court in China decided that the search engine had not broken rules by linking to music downloads that infringe copyright.

Though no one at Baidu or the court was available to comment, IFPI is considering to next steps since the case is extremely disappointing to music recording industry.
