Tom Cruise urges Becks to be Actor
July 23rd, 2010TOM CRUISE last night revealed that he has been urging friend DAVID BECKHAM to get into acting. The pair have become close chums since footballer Becks moved to the US. Tom reckons the 35-year-old idol has the talent to be a movie hit. Speaking at the London premiere of his film Knight And Day, Tom said: “I’ve been encouraging him to become an actor. He’s got the looks, he’s got everything. He’d be terrific.”

Lindsay Lohan arrives for jail surrender
July 20th, 2010LINDSAY LOHAN’S lawyer has quit as the actress gears up for her 90-day jail sentence. Bob Shapiro has told the LA judge in Lindsay’s case that he is no longer representing her. It’s currently unclear who she’ll have by her side when she officially surrenders and begins her stint behind bars today.

After Lindsay surrenders, she’ll most likely be taken to a holding cell at the courthouse, where her SCRAM bracelet will be removed. She’ll eventually be transported to the Lynwood Correctional Facility.
As we previously reported, Lindsay probably is only expected to serve 25% of her sentence — which is 23 days.

Tiger seems no way to avoid
July 15th, 2010The porn star Davon James who claims Tiger Woods is her baby daddy has filed court documents practically begging for a judge to force Tiger to submit to a DNA test.
Devon James claims there was a “misunderstanding” when a prior paternity test showed that a man named Pele Watkins was most likely the father to her son.
In the documents, Devon states that she believes Tiger is the real father — and she’s willing to provide information on the time, place and hotel location where the child was conceived to help prove her point.
At first, Tiger denies the whole thing … and recently filed papers of his own asking a judge to throw out the entire paternity case.
According to Sources, James is claiming she first met Woods in 2006, when he paid her and another adult entertainer $2,000 each for a “two-girl party”. Woods greeted her casually, saying: “Hi, I’m Tiger, nice to meet you,” before the threesome started.
Woods gave her his telephone number “immediately” after the encounter, said James.
