Korean-American in US Fashion

There are more stories in US regarding Korean Americans fashion products and recently, Miss Me products are familiar sights in leading department stores such as Macy’s, Nordstorm, and Bloomingdale’s.

Forever 21 fashion

Miss Me brand owner Stella Cho and high branded products such as South Pole, founded by brothers David and Kenny Khym (a New York-based clothing company – high quality but low price hip hop clothes), Forever 21 (a chain of clothing retailers) founded by Donald Chang, Voom (attract many celebrities including Paris Hilton) founded by Hoy Han and Ann Kim are prominent fashion led by Korean American.

The source says most of them are Korean immigrant who moved to the U.S in their teen age and early twenties. Then some started after studied fashion, open a small shop at the wholesale market and so on.

Today, Korean-American success stories in the U.S. fashion industry are among a growing number of other high fashion branded.
