Michael Learns to Rock canceled Live music concert in Yangon, Myanmar
December 20th, 2009As previously reported in last November that world famous Pop band Michael Learns to Rock is all set to tour Burma in December for a show sponsored by business tycoon Tayza’s Htoo Company in aid of victims of Cyclone Narigs, which lashed the country’s Irrawaddy delta in May 2008.
But recently, we are told that the band will not be able to perform in Yangon because of some situation yet the reason was unclear. This was the first time in Yangon that foreign famous singers to hold a concert and Myanmar fans were really looking forward to this though entrance ticket was expected around 50 dollars which would be expensive in Yangon. But the show is canceled. However, Myo Gyi and other singers who copied Michael Learns’ songs might be happy now because they’re not gonna lose their faces.
